Kumutoto provides meeting rooms and conference venues in the heart of Wellington, with amazing views of the harbour. Nestled on the edge of Wellington Harbour, a few minutes from the beehive and government buildings and next to the train station.

The new Kumutoto function venue in the PWC Centre has three meeting rooms. The meeting rooms are air-conditioned and connected to high-speed wifi. Disabled access is available to all areas.

Kumutoto is on the first floor of the PWC Centre, with the entrance directly on Waterloo Quay. A venue encased on three sides by floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to sundappled waters busy with seafaring traffic. Wellington’s CBD is close by, and the Wellington Airport is only 25 minutes drive.

Our Spaces

Runanga

This modern boardroom is encased in glass windows with stunning harbour views. Integrated Audio visual equipment and lighting makes this one of the best Boardrooms of its size in Wellington with a capacity of 17.

Whataitai

This purpose built conference and meeting space is perfect for small to medium meetings. Those hosting corporate events will enjoy its floor to ceiling windows. With high speed wifi, air conditioning, and presentation facilities it’s perfect for your next meeting. As a venue space for hire, its easy access to the Wellington waterfront is part of its magic.

Ngake

Similar in shape and layout, the Ngake room sits next to Whataitai and is a slightly smaller space. Ngake has all the features and amenities of Kumutoto, and is perfect as a breakout room or for smaller meetings, seminars and workshops.

Dual Taniwha

The combined Ngake and Whataitai meeting rooms make up Dual Taniwha. It can operate as a larger corporate event space with double the magnificent Wellington Harbour views. This venue hire space is perfect as a CBD exhibition space or corporate event hosting space. Dual Taniwha has high speed wifi, as well as presentation facilities built and managed by our audio visual partner, AV Media.
